The Mike Parry Art Award 2023, Barod – First place, adult category
This original piece took over 60 hours to draw and was specifically made to enter my first ever art competition. I finished it at the very last minute (in true ADHD style) but was completely happy with the final result. I am very pleased to say that it won first place and I couldn’t be more proud of myself.
The competition’s theme was “Solidarity”, and we were free to interpret that. I submitted this piece of writing along with the completed drawing:
